The following is Revelation 21:2-4. Most of you are likely very familiar with it, but I ask that everyone read it as though it were the first time.

I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

I can't even begin to imagine what it will be like. The times I have felt God's presence around me have been amazing beyond words, but I can only conclude that when we reach our real home, there will be no comparison. There will be NOTHING between God and I.

I could ramble on, but I feel that doing so would rob from the simple truth of what those verses imply. I thought of adding a picture for dramatic effect but nothing I could ever imagine could compare to what it will look like. Take some time to really think about what it means.
